International Sports Diver Programs to ITDA Group Standards - Worldwide Safer Diving.
A minimum of 2 Deco Stops must be made (Simulated) from 30m. At 9m and 6m. (To table rules, NO Deco required) Navigation Skills, Natural, Line Signals, Limited Visibility (performed to depth). Max Depth 30m. Academics / Theory: Dive Physics, Equipment, Basic Deco Theory, Signalling devices, Dive Safety, Nitrox 32% & 36%, Surface Support Skills, Dive Planning. And Dive Medic Program must be completed. Cold Water Module: Any students diving in temperate climates or conditions of water temp 10ºc and or Visibility below 6m./20´Ft. This module includes: Dry Suit Training, Emergency Procedures, Line Signals, Lost Buddy, Underwater & Surface. Specialist Cold Water Equipment. And use of Floats, Surface Marker Buoys. HSE Risk Assessment Program.
An SDA 2**Star Diver may dive to 30m/99´Ft. And must be accompanied by a Diving Professional on ALL dives, until 10 Open Water Dives experience is achieved. Upgrade to full Sports Diver or 3***Star Club Diver. (Resort 2 - 3 Day Program) Club Diver 3***Star rating, Course Program: 3- 4 Days or 8 to 12 weekly sessions. This is a High Quality Program designed to protect divers from the hazards associated with Cold Water diving and inexperience. |

ITDA 2**Diver:
3 Pool
Sessions (Skills Review & New Skills), 6 Open Water Dives, 2 of which
must be different entries. i.e. Shore & Boat. and two of which must be
to a depth of 30m. Rescue skills must be practiced and advanced from
the Resort Diver level with full equipment / Dry suit in place.
Timescales: Dives
may be conducted up to 3 per day, (Minimum Interval 60 mins.) 2 Days total.
Academics and Dive Medic. 1 Day. Recommend 4 Days. (But subject to
Students ability and Instructor schedule.)
